What is Sunstone. Sunstone is a feldspar crystal. It includes Hematite and Goethite which help it to refract light and creates iridescence when viewed from different angles. Often found in warm shades of orange, gold, red and brown and with a translucent look, the meaning behind Sunstone is focused on abundance and joy.

A “sunstone crystal” is a type of crystal or mineral that exhibits a phenomenon known as aventurescence, similar to what I mentioned in the previous response. Aventurescence is a glittery or shimmering effect caused by light reflecting off tiny mineral platelets within the stone. Sunstone crystals are typically a form of feldspar, and they come in various colors, including shades of orange, red, brown, and sometimes green.

In addition to their aesthetic appeal, sunstone crystals are believed by some to have metaphysical properties and are often associated with positive energy, vitality, and empowerment. They might be used in spiritual practices, meditation, or as decorative elements.
